apa itu Power Pumping atau Hyperstimulation?


Apa itu Power Pumping? 

  • Merupakan teknik mengepam yg boleh membantu meningkatkan penghasilan susu.  
  •  Melibatkan teknik dan cara mengepam yg biasa tapi dlm cara yg lebih unik.
  •  Ideanya adalah utk meniru bayi menyusu secara x langsung meningkatkan bekalan susu ibu.
 
Siapa yang perlukan Power Pumping?
  1. Ibu yang ingin menyusukan anak angkat – teknik ini digunakan untuk merangsang penghasilan susu
2. Ibu yg ingin relaktasi/ menyusukan semula si anak setelah berhenti menyusukan
3. Ibu yg kekurangan susu, berusaha untuk memperbanyakan semula susu – akibat drpd perubahan hormon, period, kurang mengepam etc.

Contoh pam yg boleh digunakan untuk kaedah "Power Pumping"
ara-cara Power Pumping?
  • Untuk Single pump – pam kanan dulu 10 minit, kemudian pam kiri 10 minit, tukar ke kanan 10 minit dan seterusnya, bertukar-tukar setiap 10 minit berterusan selama sejam.
  • Untuk Double Pump – Pam kedua2 belah serentak selama 10 minit, rehat/stop pam 10 minit, sambung lagi pam 10 minit, rehat 10 minit dan seterusnya selama 1 jam.
  • Disarankan buat power pumping ni sekali sehari, seelok-eloknya pada waktu malam ke subuh, kerana hormon susu terangsang pada waktu ni.
 
Disarankan untuk ibu-ibu semua lakukan "power pumping" ini sekali sehari dan waktu yg sangat dicadangkan ialah pada:

Waktu malam ke subuh
 kerana pengeluaran hormon lebih tinggi pada tinggi waktu ini

Bagi ibu-ibu yang bekerja,boleh juga untuk focus mengepam pasa hujung minggu dengan melakukan power pumping anda setiap sesi mengapam . Buat selama 2 hari sepanjang weekend ,dan kembali ke rutin biasa sekembalinya bekerja iaitu pada hari biasa .

Berapa lama masa diambil untuk dapat hasilnya?
Harus diingat susu tidak terus menjadi banyak hanya dengan sekali melakukan power pumping ini ye. Power pumping perlukan masa sekurang-kurangnya seminggu! Walaupun pada hari pertama hasil pam setitik dua atau ‘pam angin’ semata-mata, teruskan usaha ibu-ibu sehingga mendapat hasil yang dikehendaki. Jangan mudah putus asa, usaha, doa dan tawakkal, Insyallah segala usaha kita akan dipermudahkan olehNYA…amin.


Power pumping is a technique that can be helpful in building a milk supply. Here is a brief explanation of power pumping.
Power pumping involves using regular pumping techniques and setup, but in a unique way. The idea is to mimic a baby who is nursing frequently to increase a mother’s supply, as is common in the nursing relationship during a growth spurt. To power pump, hook-up as you would for a normal pumping session, pump for 10-20 minutes, rest 10 minutes, then pump another 10 minutes, then rest for 10 minutes, then pump again for 10 minutes. The mother does this for about an hour, once per day, to increase supply. At other pumping times during the day, routine pumping is used. It can take about a week to see an increase, so don’t get discouraged.
Some mothers prefer to concentrate their efforts and have a power pumping weekend, called “Power Pumping Boot Camp” by some lactation consultants. They power pump at each pumping for a couple of days before returning to routine pumping. 





Here i want to share some  tips on practicing power pumping,

- The poin is, never give up. Tough at first i don't get the result as i expected, just don't give up. Keep pumping. It will show the result for sure.

- Keep positive thinking. Believe that your body is on its way to increase breastmilk production. 

- Be grateful on every result you get

- Increase your pumping schedule, if necessary you can pump every hour. Or it's still okay i guess if you only able to pump 2-3 hours a day l
*oh i don't even pump 2-3 hours a day, only during office hour, but it still works*

- Play some music to make you relax.
* put  headphone and play  mp3 list or listen to the radio during pumping session.  pump  breast in 1,5-2 songs each. by tis way  don't get bored and have enough time to pump each breast. don't change pumping breast often in short period of time, the result won't maximum*

- Don't be too cc oriented. Just ignore the cc bars on your bottle, it will make you stress and it will affect the result. Try not to stare at cc bars. Enjoy your pumping momment, enjoy the music playing, and viola... more breastmilk in bottle.

- Be strict on schedule. Don't let yourself leave one pumping time. This time you have to be more discipline.

- Drink a lot of water

- Eat nutricious food and supplement.
